It would be great to get a write up on the battery systems that I have seen people using for their scoring machines. The batteries make extension cords disappear, making the fencing area quicker and easier to setup and a safer area in which to walk.
1) The batteries are a 12 volt 7.6 amp hours and can be purchased from Battery Mart. 2) The chargers can charge up to 12 of the above batteries at one time. they are self regulating and can not over charge. 3) I have provided the 5.5mm by 2.1 coaxial pigtails which you will need. 4) The female insulated 1/4 inch stack on chrimps will be needed for the battery connections. 5) Also included are the 5 foot 5.5x2.1mm 5 foot extensions which you might need for any towers that you might require.
Now you will need to cut off the ends of the charger to attach the new pigtails. The charger needs to have 12 of the female pigtails ( the all black ends) soldiered to the charger wires. The 12 red ends of the pigtail go to the red end of the charger (soldiered) and the 12 black pigtail ends go to the black end of the charger (soldier).
The male pigtails need to have the female insulated stack ons chrimped to the red line and the blacks chrimped to the black lines. This pigtail can then be installed on the batteries.
Once this is completed you can then run the batteries on the fencing scoring machines.
Update - The battery and charger ONLY are from BatteryMart.com, 800-405-2121 The other pieces, the power connectors and disconnect tabs and links, etc. are sourced from your local electronics store or Amazon. I hope at some point to edit together a video that covers all of this.
